PERFORMING ARTS

Welcome to Performing Arts at P.S. 116!  Students learn the art of performing in theater, dance, and music, and practice proper technique on the stage.  Dramatic play is emphasized, as is singing, improvisation, script reading, playwriting, and responding to professional and peer performances. It is my hope that all students understand that the art of performance is accessible to each and every one of them.

PLEASE NOTE: Office Hours for the 2020-21 school year are weekdays from 2:00-2:20pm. Please email me at mguenther@ps116.org if you'd like to set up some time to meet virtually in that time.
